Carling Cup Final

My beloved Wanderers take on Middlesbrough today in the 2004 Carling Cup Final.

I was hoping to be in Cardiff with them, but due to a major farce with the ticketing arrangements that wasn’t to be so. So I’ll be tucking into plenty of beers from early morning till late evening and hopefully celebrating a win.

Good luck to “Big Sam” and the boys. Come on lads… Do us proud!

Wordpress Update in Progress

I’ve almost completed the port over to WordPress, and only have a few things left to fix.

Rather than the default WordPress template, I’ve chosen one from Alex King’s site that was designed by B A Khan.

I’d better get back to trying to sort the Permalinks & Feed URLs out…

Update

I’ve set up automatic redirects for the feeds, so those that are using “301 redirect” aware aggregators should notice no change.

I’m still working on getting the old permalinks to redirect to their new locations, any help on this would be appreciated.

Update 2

I’m having no luck at all coming up with the code needed to make the .htaccess file redirect my old style urls to the new WordPress generated URLs… gonna call it a night and take a fresh look at it again tomorrow.
