Temporary Redesign
As you can see, I’ve redesigned the blog, but this design is only temporary — I don’t like it anymore. However, as I’m out every day looking for work I’ll be keeping this redesign until I’ve had chance to finish the “real” redesign.
About the red… I chose it as I rarely come across a red blog, and I thought I’d dare to be different.

There is plenty of more work to be done on the site as several sections that I’d like to code are still to be completed… but as I’d been promising a redesign for some time I though I’d better get some eye candy up. :)
I hope you all like it; If you don’t just hang on for a while as I’ll be starting work on the “real” redesign as soon as I get a few seconds.

Even though it’s only temporary, this is still a big improvement over the previous design. A little too red, perhaps, but I like the eye candy :)

oooh, nice
I love red! i’ve been thinking about changing the accent of my blog from blue and orange to red.
Anyway, much, much nicer and readable than before.

Looks great Chris, so you say it’s just temporary? Will the “real” version be based on this scheme or will that have a totally different look?

It will probably be based on an entirely different look Andy… but I’ll give this design another look and see if I can add some more bits to it so that it looks a lot nicer.
Failing that I’ll start from scratch.
Glad you like it.

Hi Chris,
Loving the new design! Good to see the England flag at the top too! :-)
