Friday Football Fun
Once again Friday is here and that can only mean one thing… Friday Football Fun!
Let’s hope this week I can beat ol’ Lawro who’s predictions are usually 10 times worse than my own.
No big news really this week, other than the Newcastle managers job going to a fool, the England players silence after a poor show by the english press, and of course, the farce that would have been the Sven-Goran Eriksson’s sacking. How stupid would this country (England) have to be to sack one of the most successful managers we’ve ever had? It’s that sort of mentality that actually makes me ashamed to be English sometimes. Wake up people!
- Saturday’s Games
- Aston Villa 1 v 3 Chelsea
- Bolton 1 v 1 Man Utd
- Fulham 1 v 3 Arsenal
- Liverpool 2 v 0 West Brom
- Man City 1 v 1 Everton
- Middlesbrough 2 v 1 Birmingham
- Newcastle 2 v 1 Blackburn
- Portsmouth 2 v 1 Crystal Palace
- Sunday’s Games
- Tottenham 3 v 1 Norwich
- Monday’s Games
- Charlton 2 v 2 Southampton
Lets hope this weekends brings another good result for my beloved Bolton, who face none other than Manchester United this week.

A fool? But isn’t Souness one of the most well known and renowned managers on the World stage that will take Newcastle to Europe with his oodles of international managerial experience? After all he’s Scottish and they are a great footballing nation…
I’ll stop. Sarcasm doesn’t help and I’ll probably start crying at the thought of the future…

lol Gary. :)
I do pity you, I really do, and I hope for the sake of the Newcastle fans that he proves me wrong and takes Newcastle to the heights they surely should be reaching.
If Souness ever came to manage Bolton though, I think I’d start watching cricket or worse.

I’m getting very good at predicting the actual results… just not the final scoreline.
Let’s see how I do with Sunday’s and Monday’s fixtures.
