Friday Football Fun
I’ve decided to set up a football blog especially for my football related posts, so that I can keep this blog purely aimed at web development, design and technology. So keep your eyes peeled for that.
Anyway, here are this weeks Premiership predictions.
- Saturday’s Fixtures
- Middlesbrough 1 v 3 Chelsea
- Aston Villa 3 v 0 Crystal Palace
- Fulham 2 v 1 Southampton
- Liverpool 3 v 1 Norwich
- Man City 0 v 3 Arsenal
- Newcastle 2 v 0 West Brom
- Tottenham 0 v 2 Man Utd
- Bolton 3 v 2 Birmingham
- Sunday’s Fixtures
- Portsmouth 0 v 2 Everton
- Monday’s Fixtures
- Charlton 1 v 1 Blackburn
Lets see if you can beat me this weekend! :)

Here we go
Saturday 25 September 2004
Middlesbrough 0 v 2 Chelsea
Chelsea will be going all out to win this one after two draws, plus they have only let in one goal so far this season
Aston Villa 2 v 0 Crystal Palace
Palace are bad enough at home, but away at a defensively strong villa they will take a hiding
Fulham 1 v 0 Southampton
Fulham are perhaps just slightly better than Southampton at the moment.
Liverpool 3 v 1 Norwich
Liverpool without Gerrard won’t be up to their usual standard but they should see off Norwich.
Man City 0 v 3 Arsenal
I think Man City will take a hiding here. They didn’t look that convincing against Palace.
Newcastle 4 v 0 West Brom
The Souness honeymoon is set to continue, WBA are the worst team in the Premiership (inc Palace)
Tottenham 1 v 1 Man Utd
I think that this will be a tight affiar with little goal action. Utd will do enough to scrape a point
Bolton 2 v 1 Birmingham
Bolton are strong at home and should see off Birmingham but it won’t be a walkover.
Sunday 26 September 2004
Portsmouth 2 v 2 Everton
Everton may be good enough to get a draw at Portsmouth. But Pompey are capable of scoring goals.
Monday 27 September 2004
Charlton 3 v 1 Blackburn
Blackburn have conceded 11 goals on their travels, they have no goalscorer upfront. Should be a nice win for Charlton.
probably not even close :-)
