Portable Firefox & Thunderbird

Portable Firefox & Portable Thunderbird

Just extract to your USB pen drive (or similar) and use Firefox or Thunderbird wherever you go!

I tried this on my USB pen drive and my University network drive - it worked perfectly on both!

Aha, this could have come in handy the last couple of years at my university, but not they’ve installed Firefox to all the computers. *I’m so proud!* No doubt they’ll have blocked the use of pen-drive USB devices in a lot of PC clusters anyway!

    Trov,

This week I was really suprised to find access to the USB ports was unrestricted on the Uni computers.

However, Bolton haven’t yet gotten around to installing Firefox. So Portable Firefox comes in really handy for me. :)

I’ve been using Portable Firefox at work for the last few weeks, as my office are still using IE and middle clicking links in IE only results in frustration.
