Thanks Josh.

The images over at http://www.stanc.net/mini/ helped make things a little clearer and gave me a better idea of the size of the mini when placed side by side with various objects.

Chris: I'd say they're about two-thirds the size when viewed from the front.

That'll teach me to assume that the UK would have to wait, like we did for the mini, to get our hands on an iPod Photo. :)

I'd like a mini myself but I find myself slowly filling my 20GB 3G iPod... so 4GB would never do!

I carry alsorts of stuff on my iPod, not just music, so that extra storage that the white iPods offer is quite important to me.

How much smaller are mini's when placed side-by-side with a 3G white iPod?

According to the Apple Store - http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore?family=iPodphoto - £359 for the 40gig model, £429 for the 60gig model.

I want one too but I'm happy with the storage on the Mini. Now, a iPod Mini Photo... that would be cool... :)
