Day 5 & 6

The past few days have been a lot easier and I truly believe that I can quit smoking for good this time!

Although I’m still not sleeping properly and may seek some advice from my GP or pharmacist if things don’t improve. I’m only getting around 2-3 hours sleep per night and am extremely restless for the rest of the time.

I do feel my health starting to improve already, and I’m quite looking forward to getting “fully” fit for the second half of the football season.

The weathers been good and my beloved Bolton also won today… oh what a wonderful weekend!

Day 4

Yesterday went pretty well as I try to quit smoking. I even managed to sit with the lads in the bar after football without wanting a cigarette — Something I never thought I’d be able to do so soon. Getting back to the football, we (the Leigh British Legion FC) beat The 3 Crowns 7-1 last night, our biggest pre-season victory so far.

I’m already feeling the benefits of quitting such as a clearer (less congested) chest, more energy, more time and money. Unfortunately I’ve been unable to get a good nights sleep for the past 2 days, I don’t exactly know why though.
