Well its taken a little bit longer than expected, but I finally managed to put a few hours into the blog this weekend have have the first working version of my theme uploaded and running on the site. No doubt there will be a few rough edges that will come to light in the next few days or so

Just so you know, I’ll be constantly adding to the site from now on and will try and get back to posting a decent amount of stuff.

Right… I need some sleep!

Just thought I’d post a quick update on the blog redesign.

I’ve got everything working as it should, and almost everything styled correctly with only the “single post page” and comments page to style and iron out a few bugs.

I’ve packaged it up as a Wordpress theme so that I can make changes easily and keep a versioned backup.

Some info on the theme (for reference):

• Self-contained Wordpress Theme.
• Uses the FlickrRSS Wordpress Plugin.
• Makes use of the Xbox 360 Gamercard Wordpress Plugin.
• Uses icons from Mark James & Joseph North.
• Designed using the 960Grid System by Nathan Smith.
• Powered by Douwe Egberts, Powerade, iTunes and repeated visits to the Wordpress Codex.

I should be finished in the next few days and hopefully will switch it “live” next weekend.
